Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is a famous American actor. Kellie Martin has appeared in numerous TV shows like "Christy" which is a comedy about a teenage girl known as Christy Huddleston. Her other notable roles include appearing in the titular role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin was the daughter of a department shop buyer and a kindergarten instructor. She began acting at seven years old when her aunt, who was a nanny in Michael Landon's household, assisted Martin find a role as an actor on the TV show Father Murphy. After graduating of Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed important roles on the smaller and big screen. Apart from being an actor, Martin is a skilled photographer, as well as a dancer. Two-time mother, she is the national spokesperson for Lupus and has been spreading awareness regarding the disease since her sister died from it at the age of 19.
